Sunday, 9 March 2025 08:21 (UTC)I hadn't thought of that myself (not knowing all that much of Tolkien), so I'll add that in! (My first thought was of "mithril", but Donaldson seems to be a fair bit subtler about ripoffs than Paolini.)
May I also how you came to be here and what you find of this so far? I'm curious.
