SCSF: It is good to see you back again! Unfortunately, I have not been able to get ahead as much as I wanted to (not in the least because this chapter is exceedingly boring), but that should resolve itself soon.

This whole journey just reeks of poor planning, doesn't it.

Indeed... And even though it was not planned well at the beginning, they had all the time they could wish for to plan out the rest of the journey on the way to Fernbrake Lake, and they did not for some reason? I think that is because Douglass did not know herself yet, but that is why you can plan ahead during writing, and you can also edit it afterward.

Ah yes, that was probably what I was searching for, and he should know very well that it would not happen to him! But Douglass wants to have him go evil, no matter how much or little sense it makes (and no matter if his character has better options for that), so of course he cannot think of that.

Unless it's both really old and has woodcuts of it throughout the countryside, the ring will not be so renowned. It's not like a crest-bearing signet ring.

Well, it is two thousand years old, so that might help a bit, but I would indeed not expect it to be widely known, then. Thanks for the confirmation!

Honestly, proper naming the person would make her more mysterious, because then we wouldn't even be certain she was a Sentinel!

(nods) And her name (Zeherah) does not have an obvious connection with the others, so that would indeed work... I think this might be one case where Douglass's rather random naming scheme works for her.
